This is a photo taken by Robin of us at the George and Pilgrim, Glastonbury, one of the most ancient Hotels in the UK.
It was built at the same time as Glastonbury Abbey and frequented by the monks.
There is supposedly an underground passage to the Abbey and also to the base of the Tor.
The shaft of light in the photo could be Arthur wielding his sword (He is buried next to Guinevere in the Abbey grounds), or the Michael line passing through on its way to the Tor and then on to the Pyramids of Egypt, or just a bolt of lightening (Berachah, the name of our Guest House on the Tor translates from Hebrew as Lightening Bolt or place of special spiritual blessing)..............you choose!
Anyway it was really startling to see it in the photo
It was a magical evening

I wrote this as a part of the #1ss Twitter challenge and then searched for
someplace to post it. This notebook is a bit dusty but still perfectly
functional!
